Project 365 day three hundred and forty two, close up

Project 365 day three hundred and twenty nine, the marvel that is nature

Today on the news I saw that NASA is preparing to send a nuclear powered rover to a
Mars, they have come up with a unique solution for landing the rover as they do not want to lose it like the European Space Agency with the Beagle. they are may find evidence of life, more tan likely not.

Here on Earth I continue to see miracles of Mother Nature everyday that is all round me but I have never opened my eyes too. The patterns in these ferns has taken nature billions of years to perfect, adapting them their environment, yet we can explore the stars but know so little of what is around us.

Project 365 day one hundred and ninety seven, rain stops play

If you live in England you’ll know that the English are obsessed with the weather we moan when it rains, when its hot we maon because its to hot and wished it was cooler, when we have heat waves we wished it was raining, all year long we think it would be great to have a white christmas, then moan at the inconvenience when it snows.

An interesting fact, if I was to say the weather today will be the same as yestersday I would get it right more often than the weather man.

Project 365 day one hundred and seventy two, a rose by any other name

shakespeare romeo and juliet a rose by any other name

‘Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What’s Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What’s in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call’d,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself.

Shakespeare‘s Romeo and Juliet, 1600

I love a bit of Shakespeare, but so glad the english language has evolved to become so much simpler than it was, I can now butcher it without twis, twas, was or tis!

Project 365 Day forty 9/2/11 chocolate fantasy

This was 2 water drops on a CD, originally I has wanted to do a usual light prism effect, but found it boring. I then hit in the idea of using other photos to reflect their colors onto the droplets. The photo used was a low light image with an orange cast to it.
